PTC Heater

The PTC auxiliary heater is an electric heating element that helps the cabin warm up faster, especially during cold starts or in diesel-powered vehicles.
It uses a semiconductor resistance element (PTC – Positive Temperature Coefficient) that automatically regulates temperature and prevents overheating.

We offer genuine Ford PTC heating units for models such as Focus, Mondeo, S-Max, and C-Max. A faulty PTC module can cause slow cabin heating or insufficient warm air.
A PTC auxiliary heater can also be retrofitted to most Ford vehicles, significantly improving interior warm-up times and driving comfort in cold weather.

In most Ford models, the PTC module is located to the left of the glove box, integrated into the central HVAC tunnel.
If the vehicle is not originally equipped with a PTC heater, there is a blanking cover in its place, which can be replaced with the auxiliary heating module.
