Diesel instrument cluster are interchangeable for all TDCI engines 1.6, 1.8, 2.0 and 2.2.

Petrol instrument cluster are interchangeable for all Duratec and Ecoboost engines 1.0, 1.6, 1.8, 2.0, and 2.5.

It is also possible to swap petrol for diesel and vice versa. The only difference is that the tachometer range is shorter or longer.

The specific part number will play a role, but it is important to keep the pre-facelift (until 2010) and post-facelift (from 2010) variants so that the airbag indicator light works correctly.

They do not contain an immobilizer, so when replacing them you do not need to record keys, as is the case with the Focus MK2.

The variant with a small red LCD displays the same information as the variant with a large red LCD, but you need to click multiple times to display all functions.
